Amazon meltables · Summer 2027

Amazon won't take your product April 20-September 28. We will.

Move your meltable inventory into climate-controlled storage. Keep selling through FBM all summer. Then move it back to FBA when Amazon's window reopens.

The Amazon restriction

Summer heat can strand your FBA inventory.

Amazon does not accept meltable inventory into FBA from April 20 through September 28. Products that soften or melt below 155°F can fall under the restriction.

That can include chocolate, gummies, supplements, candles, wax products and heat-sensitive cosmetics. Inventory left behind may need to be removed, returned or disposed of, with fees that can add up quickly.

Do not wait for April. Plan removal orders and replacement fulfillment before March so your products can stay available during the peak of summer.

Amazon meltables FAQ

What sellers need to know before summer.

What does Amazon consider a meltable product?

Products that can melt in typical fulfillment or delivery conditions may be treated as meltable. Common examples include chocolate, gummies, some supplements, wax products, candles and heat-sensitive cosmetics. Confirm your product's current classification in Seller Central.

What happens to meltable inventory left at Amazon after April 20?

Amazon may reject inbound meltable inventory during the restricted window. Sellers should create removal plans before the deadline to avoid stranded inventory and potential disposal or return fees.

How does FBM shipping work for temperature-sensitive products?

Inventory stays in climate-controlled storage. Orders are picked and packed for direct shipment to the customer using a shipping plan matched to the product and destination. Packaging and carrier requirements are confirmed before launch.

When should I reserve summer meltables space?

Book before March. That leaves time to estimate volume, plan Amazon removal orders and confirm inbound timing before the April 20 restriction.
